Kimberton Hunt Pace Event

We will not be hosting a pace event in 2008.

This public event is open to all riders--you don’t need to be a foxhunter to participate and have a great time!  The marked trail will be five to six miles long, traversing beautiful fields and woods in the park.  This pace event provides an opportunity for riders to enjoy the park’s trails, lovely fall foliage and spectacular views of Marsh Creek Lake. Two years ago, the club’s first pace event was held the day after Thanksgiving and as luck would have it, it turned out to be one of the coldest “Black Friday’s” on record in Pennsylvania.  Last year’s event was held the first weekend in October, which proved to have much better weather and riding conditions.  The turnout was fantastic and the club is again hoping for another beautiful, safe day for riders to enjoy the countryside.

Entry fee includes complementary food and beverages.  Everyone knows Kimberton Hunt is legendary for its delicious homemade food!  Registration is on site/there are no pre-entries.  Individual riders or teams of up to four riders may participate.  Ribbons will be awarded for first through sixth place in each division. ASTM/SEI-approved helmets and boots with heels are required. All those entering this event assume the risk of equine activities pursuant to Pennsylvania Equine Activity Immunity Act 93.
